Bee Pollen
Referred to as the “food of the Gods’, bee pollen is a rich nutrition product, has been taken world-wide as an energy boosting and health supplement. Bee pollen has been used to enhance energy, memory and performance. Bee Pollen is another bee product used in alternative medicine and sold by some health food stores as a nutritional supplement. Bee pollen’s ability to consistently and noticeably increase energy levels makes it a favorite substance among many world class athletes and those interested in sustaining and enhancing quality performance.
Bee Propolis
Bee propolis, often called Nature’s penicillin, has historically been used to treat ulcers, mitosis, colitis and to boost immunity. Bee propolis has been revealed to destroy bacteria, viruses, fungus and even penicillin-resistant bacteria (staphylococcus). Propolis contains almost 500 times more bioflavonoids than oranges! As well, Bee propolis boosts immune functioning, specifically by increasing the activity of phagocytes (killer cells). Bee Propolis also inhibits prostaglandin production, thereby stopping inflammation.
Bee Propolis is manufactured by honey bees after they collect resin from deciduous tree bark and leaves. Also used o seal cracks in the hive like glue. Propolis has numerous immune building properties. One of the most powerful foods found in nature, Propolis is a highly complex mixture of waxes, resins, balsams, oils and a small amount of pollen.
Propolis is taken by mouth or used externally to sterilize and disinfect skin irritations, cuts, rashes and bruises because it contains phyotonizides. The fact that viruses and bacteria are unable to build a tolerance against propolis is particularly significant to the medical field. It is best to process Propolis in frozen format for easy human consumption.
Rich in biofavonoids, Propolis may help in healing and mending blood vessels and resisting the release of histamine. Good results against inflammation of the mucous membranes of the mouth and the throat, dry cough, halitosis, tonsillitis, ulcers, and acne. Stimulates immune system.
Royal Jelly
Royal Jelly is a creamy white substance synthesized by the common worker bee only for feeding the Queen bee. Royal Jelly transforms the queen into an incredible insect, enhancing her phyiscal performance to unimaginable levels.
Royal Jelly is so named because it is the highly concentrated, nutritious food of the hive’s most important resident, the Queen Bee. Honeybees produce royal jelly for the benefit of the Queen bee, who lives 5 times longer than the worker bees. If a queen is desired, the hatching will receive only royal jelly as its food source, in order that she will become sexually mature and have the fully developed ovaries needed to lay more eggs for the hive. Feeding only Royal Jelly for entire life, the Queen could reach maturity 5 days earlier than worker bees and double the size of worker bee. A Queen Bee may live for five years that is much longer than worker bees who only live six weeks or less. She is fertilized once, and from that moment on can lay as many as three thousand eggs a day during the season. Queen honeybees lay two kinds of eggs: fertilized, female eggs, which have two sets of chromosomes and develop into workers or queens, and unfertilized, male eggs, which have only one set of chromosomes and develop into drones.
Royal jelly’s chemistry has been studied and contains all the essential amino acids, unsaturated fats, natural sugars, minerals, and the B vitamins (B5 and B6).
